Colinsburgh Primary School is located on the main road in the village of Colinsburgh with a current school roll of 34 pupils. Its current headmistress is Mrs Ashley McBain.
The main school building, built in1875, has 3 classrooms (but currently operates as 2), a main office and a dining hall. The town hall, next to the school, is used for indoor P.E.
A controlled entry system operates on all external doors. The school has a concrete playground with a shelter and outbuilding to store equipment. Recently added climbing equipment, a basketball hoop and planters helps ensures the space is as engaging, active and nurturing as can be. Staff and pupils have regular access to the various parks and grassy areas in the village.
Colinsburgh Primary School is a warm, friendly and inclusive school. Its aim is to create an ethos within the school environment where pupils, parents and staff work together in partnership to provide the highest possible standard of education for all pupils.
